Why choose satellite over terrestial TV?

Digital television is much, much,  harder to pick up than terrestial  analogue television, especially in rural areas ,the very places we like to go in our leisure vehicles,  and impossible to receive Uk tv outside the UK . At least with analogue some reception is possible in most places albeit poorer or snowy / ghosty pictures, but when analogue is switched off, as it will be, and already has been in some places , then there will be many people with no pictures at all in their leisure vehicle .  With satellite however as long as there is a clear line of sight to the satellite high above the equator in geostationary orbit in the Clark belt in the South East it dosn`t matter where you are in Europe all Uk television with perfect pictures  and cd quality sound and radio is available.
